Jesus is LOVE,

It's only when you have LOVE

that you can give love.......

It was all about Jesus for me

Special Thanks For All Your love and Support.

As we honor Gloria Eudosia Moss, our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, we want to say a very special thanks to all who have helped in making the last year and a half much smoother than one could have expected.

To our Aunts Joyce, Olga and Peggy we say thanks you for your tireless efforts and help, and for the months of coming and going and just giving your all for your sister. Your support and assistance was invaluable and had it not been for your commitment to give of your best, your sister would never have been with us for so long and she would not have been as comfortable as she was in the last days of her life. Our time of praise and worship and fellowship in the Lord helped us to keep our focus on Jesus and not on the situation. Your show of commitment to family is thoroughly appreciated by all of us, because while you did it for your beloved sister, you faithfulness definitely made all of the other duties much easier for the rest of us who were part of the team. Thanks also to Uncle Joe, Noelle,  and Gloria-Ann for being so understanding while we took you away from them.

There are some special people that we want to give a special thanks.
Over the past few months as Simone realized the seriousness of her Grandmother's condition, she took on a new role to actually take care of her, thinking in her mind that she was the nurse in charge and also thinking that she was responsible for her Grandmother. Simone, thank you and always remember that Grandma loves you.
Kibby, his Grandmother's pride and joy, thanks for always fixing her phones, radio and other electronic devices and for always being so patient with Grandma. You made her so proud in everything you did. Your continued progress and successes will bring her even more happiness as she looks down from heaven.
Barbara, for all the months when you silently did all the footwork, and for those periods of time that you physically took care of Aunt Gloria, for the times you took her to the lab and for Chemotherapy and the numerous pharmacy trips in addition to your normal chores of being wife and mother, we thank you. Your help was appreciated by Aunt  Gloria and all of us. As she said in her last days when you were multi-tasking with so many things, "Barbara is a blessed girl". Thanks for being such a blessing to our mom.
To her newest daughter Claudette, your acts or love and kindness to your friend and mom has not gone unnoticed. We know that she loved you and could depend on you to be there in a moments notice. We thank you for being there for her.

To our cousins, we certainly drew strength and confidence as all of you supported and encouraged us along the way. Your help, advice and personal sacrifices for your aunt never went unnoticed. To Ann, Sandra and Gloria-Ann, (and in the latter stages), Tricia, thanks for being a part of the team of consultants and support. We felt your love even as you got numerous calls and emails for advice.

To Gloria's friends and extended family, your tremendous outpouring of love, affection and support definitely helped to get us through this difficult time.
There are so many names we could mention but it would be too long a list so please accept our gratitude of thanks for all you love shown to our mom.

To Oviedo Presbyterian Church, enough cannot be said about the way Pastor Paul Ogne, the Sunflower Group and all the members of that church poured out their prayers, their love and care for our mom. Your church surely exemplifies what Christianity and Christ's Church should be all about as stated in John 13:34-35. (34. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another).
Pastor Paul, we thank you for your faithfulness as you ministered to Gloria at home on so many occasions. Your genuine sense of love and caring for her is heart felt. For the months of coming on Fridays to visit our mom, we want to say thanks to the Sunflower Group. To the youth, thanks for the love you have shown to Miss Gloria and for the cards and best wishes to her. Your ministry in song and prayer at her bedside was a blessing to her and all of us that were present there. For what seems like the whole church coming by at some time or the other and for the numerous visits by many, we love you and thank you for all the love you gave to our mom.
Our prayer is that all of you at OPC will be blessed and that your church will see great growth and prosperity so that you can continue to do what you do as you win people for the Lord and give of your love as Jesus commanded us.

Special Thanks to those who gave generously to the Oviedo Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers. Your gifts and continued support is greatly appreciated by the church.

To Gloria's medical team we thank you for all you did to keep Gloria with us for over a year and a half. Our heartfelt thanks for Dr. B. Hannah Ortiz who fought and made every effort possible to preserve our mom. Dr. Ortiz, you treated our mom like she was your mom and for that we love you as our very own. Thanks for never giving up. You were tolerant and patient (with some of us.....smile) in our every effort to see her healed. Our loss in Orlando is a big gain to your New York area patients. The team of nurses in the Chemotherapy Center have been the most loving caring people. We do not want to single out names because everyone was really just fantastic, but we must say special thanks to Karen, her first Chemotherapy nurse who did her part in making our mom and the rest of us so comfortable. Linda, our Triage Nurse, what can I say other than a big thank you for understanding and caring and responding to every request in a loving manner. You all were like family and we thank you. Dr. Holloway, thank you for doing your part in caring for our mom in the latter stages.

To the Hospice of the Comforter team, we are thankful for your total support in our mom's final days. You were so caring and comforting as you helped care for our mom and to prepare us for the day when she would go home to be with the Lord. Your service will never be forgotten.

We are eternally indebted to everyone (including our extended families and the numerous people that are not mentioned by name), for the prayers, acts of love, support and encouragement you have given to us and our hope is that even in these difficult times, we have all learnt about the benefits of being family and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We have also learnt that no man is an island unto himself, we need each other as we go on our journey through life.

Again, a million thanks to each and every one of you and may God continue to bless all of you so that you can continue to be a blessing to others as you have been to our Mom.

With all our love,

George and Barry
